  • You can do this!! A few years ago I went balls to the wall diet and I had nightmares about food. So I feel you. I’m starting a journey today bec my blood work was awful when in January everything was almost perfect. Very depressed. It’s harder now I’m 44. 😭

  • Doesn't matter what I do. My weight doesnt change but how I feel does with diet. Always eat when you are legitimately hungry your body knows what it's doing. Fruits have been especially helpful for me to put on healthy weight so I dont turn into one of those damn twigs.

  • I lost 70lbs in 2018 after being overweight my whole life and I gained it all back in 2020 during quarantine and after having a baby. I’m starting my journey all over again and content like this is so relatable. Food really does become like an addiction. You’ve got this though! Keep doing what feels good to your body and whatever works for you. There’s no one right way to lose weight. Just do you ❤️

  • SOMETHING I DID I went to a little medical clinic here in my city and I pay for basically a monthly subscription for B12 & LIPO shots every week it’s a routine I’ve adjusted to I recommend getting the two shots on ya a** cheek because you won’t feel anything and I’m down 20 pounds! ❤️❤️❤️ not that money is an issue for you but it’s definitely not expensive and it’s such a confidence boost when they tell you how much you’ve lost every week!

    • This also goes to anyone struggling in the comments with weight and you feel like you’re getting no where no matter how much you diet and workout ❤️ get your medical clinics a call and ask if they provide that service

  • ohhh girl I've been there....and what I've learned is that you really should not expect others to help you in this journey :( cause they won't understand You cannot expect a skinny or a naturally fit person to drop all the food that they like and that works for them, just so that you can feel like they are going through the same rough thing as you, else they will start pushing you away and you will again feel misunderstood and hurt. This is just the sad truth and I lived through it and walked though the other side (even though I still fall into that trap from time to time). I mean I would say if you can afford it hire a professional, a nutritionist, a personal trainer, and perhaps even go to a fitness and nutrition retreat for 1-2-3-x months so that you be around people that have the same goal as you, especially now while you are at the beginning...cause your family might not have the same goal as you and it will be harder for you to keep your goal, when all the people around you seem to "enjoy" their life and feel like you are the only one miserable

  • Jaclyn, I am so proud of you for loving yourself and wanting to take better care of you. BTW, you don't look like you weigh what the scale said you weigh. I hate it when people offer unsolicited advice like "try this and try that" but if you are needing to switch things up, I'd look up Dr. Shawn Baker and the Carnivore Diet. Keep your chin up and know there are so many of us here cheering you on!

  • Proud of you! I was on this journey about a year ago (and still am!). Once you start getting in better shape and eat healthier regularly you feel SO much better. Obviously, I still eat "junk" from time to time but I'm way healthier now. Great job! You can do it!

  • Jaclyn, healthy food does not need to be boring and tasteless! Lol I mean that with love. Find delicious low calorie recipes that you enjoy. Also don't try to cut too many calories too soon or you'll end up binging on your treat day. I speak as someone who lost 50 pounds after having kids.

I started at 260 in 1998 and made a lifestyle change i am now 120 and have been since 1999 I battle this everyday I might gain 5 here and there and fight to take it off. But I have learned in my journey that nothing is off limits in moderation I make Saturdays my cheat day I have what I really craved all week . I feel eating bad 4 days a month and eating healthy the rest has made me stay on track. I went and got my certification in nutrition and personal fitness . Keep up the good work baby steps make huge changes. But always know you are beautiful the way you are...

  • You’ve got this Jaclyn! I went from 244lbs to 140lbs in around 17 months. I know it’s not all about weight loss but I am so much healthier, happier, I don’t have high blood pressure any more or aching joints! I feel so much younger 🙌🏼 it’s a tough road to create new healthy habits but you CAN do it ❤️❤️

  • I am on the Ketogenic diet, and I feel the best I've ever felt. Clear mind, constantly energized and absolutely no hunger. I have ADHD and this has gotten so much better. My eczema and migraines are totally gone. And you lose weight really fast!

  • Hi honey, I’m sorry you feel this was. I highly recommend you do the MINI Bariatric sleeve. It has so many benefits. I advise you to seek help there’s a lot of support groups on Facebook.   • Heey! The first 2 weeks are the hardest! I started to work out for about 4 weeks. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and for about 3 weeks i stopped eat sugar. And the first 2 weeks of not getting sugar had on my temper, i cried, i was superangry at my husband but now I'm ok. I don't have the cravings anymore and I've found a workout that i like, also you need to found something that you think is fun doing. Don't go on the treadmill if you don't like it find something else to do 🥰

  • being on a "healthy journey" isn't easy as I say so myself from having a eating disorder for a long time but after I made the decision by going to therapy and talking to a nutritionist, I learned a lot about nutrition and how to fuel your body. food is everyone's weakness and even the healthiest people can say that too. its all about learning what you can mix with and try to make healthier remake of a sugary or carby food youre craving! with time you'll love meal prepping and eating healthy food! its all about eating in moderation as well.   • It’s been 5 years since my pregnancy and I gained a whole 60lbs since then. I’ve been in and out of depression, on so many diets, started working out and quitting within a week. The struggle is definitely real! I hate running out of breath, sweating so easily, feeling gassy and just overall so damn unhealthy! I recently lost 10lbs and I’m keeping the faith that I’ll eventually get to a healthier state soon, body and mind! We can do this Jaclyn😊 NEVER GIVE UP.
