  • In June 1999, Lockett kidnapped and shot Stephanie Neiman, a 19-year-old high school graduate, a friend of Lockett's other victims, and a witness to his crimes. He used duct tape to bind her hands and cover her mouth. Even after being kidnapped and driven to a dusty country road, Neiman refused to back down when Lockett asked if she planned to contact police. After she stated she would go to the police as soon as he released her, Lockett walked her into a ravine and had his accomplices help her over a barbed wire fence, where Lockett shot her from a distance of approximately six feet with a 1/4-ounce slug from a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun. The impact from the slug tore into her chest and shoulder, knocking her to the ground. At that time Lockett's gun jammed. As Nieman lay on the ground moaning in agony, he walked back to their vehicle and using a screw driver unjammed the shotgun. As Nieman moaned and convulsed on the ground, Lockett walked back to where she lay across the fence, and while holding the shotgun over the fence approximately two feet from Nieman's chest, he pulled the trigger. Even though the second shot was directly in her chest it still wasn't fatal. As Nieman lay on the ground gasping for air, he stated, "I ain't going to shoot her again," and decided to bury her alive.[10] Lockett ordered an accomplice to bury her while she was still breathing. She died from two wounds from a shotgun fired by Lockett.[10]

  • Admiral General Aladeen

  • The nonchalant time likely measure because craftsman adversely observe up a foamy budget. well-groomed, rustic attempt

  • John please talk later about asian hate....We don't want to be discriminated anymore just because we look different.

  • Imagine sneezing out loud like that? And with no mask. Nowadays, if you cough in public you're automatically a social pariah.

  • Who would want a juror that can't bring themselves to vote once every 4 years. If they can't respect the law in their own self interest, what good are they in a trial. The other points Oliver made are spot on.

  • It's not food scarcity - It's money scarcity. There is enough food - we just decided some people don't deserve to eat.

  • It is always about undervaluing, misrepresenting or demeaning someone or something toward obtaining free or nearly free (preferrably continuous) access to labor and or property while maximizing gains, minimizing liabilty and denying (when possible) proceeds using any and all means, methods or strategies including manipulation of accounting, askew application and interpretation of action or language. Perpetrators will say, write or do absolutely anything, with disregard to honor or ethics (and contradictory or hypocritical or not to their position) to maintain their stranglehold on parasitical exploitation, influence and or power while promoting how generous, beneficial, moral and vital they and their activity is in exchanging nothing or limited value for something of necessary or greater common value not currently or continuously in their control. In addition, a portion of ill gotten gains will be used to alledgedly "legally" (whatever that is) defend or attack objections to their conduct. Interestingly when these same entities are subjected to their own "deal" they resoundingly reject participation preferring to immediately alter terms and conditons. This is evidence of unilateral negatation of choice and or free will under false pretense and stipulates to use of force and or desperation and or coercion in a cornered but suggestively open and voluntary environment. Aka capitalism but not capitalism. Free or nearly free for one, but debilitating to another while exhalting predators.

  • Why there are so many catholics in supreme court, again?

  • America really is a third world country... All this is ridiculous. I'm so glad to live in Europe, where the Raid-like troops are actually correctly trained and supported. Oh and they also do CHECK the target before raiding it; and they knock first... Just wow, what is wrong with you America? As long as there are people like John Oliver to reveal the real issues, there's some hope; but please, this needs to change. The USA is not the best country in the world, far from it, stop believe this, you'll grow up a bit if you understand that.

  • Dear Mr.Oliver. I have a favor to ask. I understand that in order to be popular in the "great" Britain and "the colonies" you need to dilute serious conversation by adding unfunny jokes every 30 seconds (yes, go ahead, viewers, CHECK). Unfortunately, I have come to like your videos, but, fortunately, I'm neither a brit nor a yank (neither are you, they WILL hang you by the neck one day). Is there any chance you could add a special montage of your videos WITHOUT those every-30-seconds stupid jokes, for people from countries where intellect is not considered a symptom of communist satanism? Thank you.

  • Trump decrying the election results was embarrassing to say the least. I live in India, where there are a few politicians who scream about rigging in elections, but the majority of the parties accept the results and move on, rather than inciting their supporters to storm the parliament/capitol building. To cap it all off, Trump made a statement a couple of days ago, saying he will run for president again in 2024, and that he was still the winner of the election. This is making me go, "Seriously?"

Is it not some sort of poetic justice that he whinges and bitches the same as the democrat supporters did when he took power. Not saying he was great, but is it not in his right to throw back the shit that was thrown at him??
