The past is a vast and mysterious land that begins at the big bang and ends in the present, expanding with each passing moment. It is the home of everything that came before, the key to understanding our present. Here we find the most amazing creatures to ever roam our planet, hundreds of millions of species so diverse that our imagination cannot do them justice. Unfortunately the past carefully guards its secrets.

    • Please stop with the "unknown unknowns" it sounds so stupid. 😅 Thumbs up btw. 👍

    • lol started witha big bang!!!! idiot

    • hey uh... can you please make sure you don't ran out of merch Intel it turns may 23 because I want to buy your merch on my birthday please 😁

    • les go I'm 10010 years old

    • What would happen if the titanaboa raided New York City?

  • I love this channel so much.

  • It’s so sad that we will never see a real dinosaur it’s probably the saddest thing I know

  • For all we know, maybe dragons actually existed. Not fire-breathing, but just as large.

  • This gives me gousebumps!

  • 3:40 I gotta admit, that therizino model looks amazing bro

  • Thanks I'm crying

  • Omg we want Arabic subtitles

  • Aah yes, the cuddly T-Rex. Or as we Germans say: The Schmuser-Rex.

  • Lol

  • I love this animation. ..good job. ..

  • I mean Adam and Eve Lol

  • 2:24 sheesh

  • 8:56 a wild Legiana appears!

  • I never knew a fictional dinosaur character like Barney would actually end up being historically accurate.

  • I love your videos. Thank you so much for creating such amazing content (:

  • Soooo CNlinks!, which means no clue about media production. Cant hear narrator properly, as the background music is more important that what he is saying.

  • I used to be a fan, but after seeing this masterpiece i a whole turbine

  • Life, uh...finds a way

  • if you think you are unlucky just think about all the people that scrolled past this video but did not click on it

  • Halfway through this, I just want to stop and comment on the amazing music these videos have. I would love a purchasable soundtrack.

  • Did anyone observe there were no kurzegast birdies in this one😅? Atleast very less....during the explanation.

  • I Absolutely adore feathery and soft dinosaurs! People say it makes them less intimidating and less impressive, but you wouldn't say that to a Lion, or a Bear, or a Gorilla, or a Shark, or most other creatures on the planet. Also the thought of cuddling with a raptor is perhaps even more tantalizing than cuddling with something equally as cool and modern like a Lion or a gorilla.

  • Don’t underestimate nature Costasiella kuroshimae looks like a Pokémon… it’s a adorable sea slug.

  • What greater loss is it that we are letting species get extinct. Nope, i don't do anything for their welfare either.

  • Would be the point of that maybe the Earth is trillions of years old and even the sun exploding on the earth is a cycle of New Life emerging from the ground and ocean and old life having no choice but to leave the Earth in space or suffer and die on this planet So what if everything we would do to educate people in the future about our past would get destroyed by the sun exploding one day and a new worth is born and begins same could be said about massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions if the lava has enough smooth Rock powder dropping to its surface which would over time make the ceiling even higher

  • Thanks for this informative video, we are learning.

    • And this is why we need to build a time machine but it’s practically impossible due to the amount of energy needed to power it

  • When I saw the nightmarish creatures i was like OMG

  • 'Bird Up'

  • Great video as always keep up the good work, just wanna know who r those who dislike videos like these?

  • Honestly, I feel monster hunter comes closer to how dinosaurs were in the past.

  • 'Wrong' & 'Right' Is The Same Fucking Thing ... If You Haven't Noticed The Trend, Yet!

  • Great video! I'd love to share it with my Spanish speaking friends, can you add Spanish subs please?

  • The animation truly enhances the story telling but beyond that the animation in this episode is just beautiful

  • The loutish keyboarding philosophically sprout because table cephalometrically question than a separate price. real, cheap farm

  • Mans really just went back in time for dinosaurs

  • What does Marcellus Wallace look like?

  • Simply beautiful. Thank you.

  • It is absurd to believe that we can preserve other species over billions of years. We won’t even be able to preserve ourselves!

  • How do you explain crocodiles, that are truly living dinosaurs, as well as many other reptiles? They are not colorful, don't have feathers and look kinda "boring"... What I mean is that you cannot generalise and say dinosaurs were colorful and beautiful.

    • Is that an actual question? The evolutionary reason to why crocs are bland is so they cant be seen they are ambush predators after all

    • evolution

  • 5:03 Lileep

  • Dinosaurs might’ve worn clothes

  • That's so gay.

  • And this is why we need to build a time machine but it’s practically impossible due to the amount of energy needed to power it

  • Watching this, I feel such a strong longing for those unknown Unknown

  • 8:58 is that a dragon in the background?

  • Awesome!

  • Hello can you list me all the prehistoric creatures in the videos please because Your amazing animation and creatures are amazing so if you see this please list it to me

  • So at the museum all those teeth are just like my False teeth then..🤣😂😉

  • Since hair cannot be on fossils we never know if dinosaurs had hair.

  • This gave me tears...😢 I love this video!

  • SHEEEESH 2:24

  • So sad this is not available in the Philippines

  • I love you, Kurzgesagt.

  • So Jurassic Park is fake? >:(

  • So...pokemon were real?

  • Great message, we need to protect the amazing diversity of animals we have on the planet right now

  • I’ll never see dinosaurs as I used to ever again

  • Your my 2 favorite youtuber

  • I love Dinosaur it's really cool to see them with feathers and bright colourful body

  • Yes, fiction can be fun. And for the feeble minded, I'm sure your child like cartoons are all the more they need to be convinced of a history, that is completely made up. Even the thumb is a total crock. No one knows for certain what dinosaurs looked like.

  • Your content is awesome.

  • Wait, what if the t Rex was actually a dragon, it kinda makes sense, the wings mightve been light weight cartilage so they could glide, it would also explain the short front arms

  • The animation is amazing!

  • Now why the hell did y’all make that mammoth visual so depressing 😭😭😭

  • Why was this so relaxing?

  • Because I love you

  • On you

  • Now I fart for love

  • And now they fart for love

  • I thought dinos farted in your face for defense because I do it to

  • I love using imagination to know the past...

  • This is certainly dumb

    • no this is factual

  • sheeesh

  • "Plus, there are even more things we don't know we don't know about"

  • plus, who says that dinosaurs need to be scaly or feathery? It seems that every recreation of dinosaurs needed to be one of the two, while most animals today have fur or hair, and it doesn't seem to add up

  • Hate to break to you, most reptiles are actually shaped as their heads, crocodiles are shaped as their heads are, "Snakes?" Their 2 Jaws close when only opening the mouth or closing, only seperates when about to eat

  • What an incredible video

  • Man this video is amazing Everything is perfectly put together

  • Your kinda correct cause some dinausaors have feathers

  • We have zero evidence of theropods playing around with mates. What we do have evidence of is vicious bite marks on their skulls and evidence of cannibalism.

  • Is it just me or did you say sheeeeesh too.

  • 9:37 Boink Apparatus

  • I always enjoy a good bit of science fiction. 😁

    • @Hades Oh, ok, I assume then that you are well educated on this, maybe you could impart some of that knowledge and educate and enlighten me as to why this little cartoon is not science fiction.

    • @pcmaclin me

    • @Hades It's not?? Really?? Says who?

    • this is not science fiction

  • Ok but ankylosaurus is the coolest dinosaur Debatable

  • Nicely done losers

  • As a rat lover I find it immensely satisfying that we have tiny burrowing rodents to thank for our existence..........

  • you did not have to make me sad and add the baby mammoth looking at it's dead mom like that.

  • I learn more watching you than science at school

  • It’s funny how we’ve never found a full fossil skeleton of a dinosaur. It’s also funny how literally every single ancient culture recognized & or even worshipped dragons. All over the world from Asia to Europe to Africa and the America’s. Even the Bible talks about dragons existing. But here we are discussing what “dinosaurs” possibly looked like. We’re expected to believe dragons are just a made up fairy tale but I think HisStory is hiding something. Great video though I love the animation. Just hoping to fuel some imagination.

  • love the animation

  • Just get your calender- looking forward to get it in my hands! Love your work and hope I can Support your work and appreciate it! Love your channel

  • lovely episode as always :) 4:28 the modern dinosaur in extinct dinosaur costume is great! also, I'm glad when educators point out clarification (e.g. at that moment), that something is not certain, and it is more than less a speculation about presented information - I'm just sad when someone states something as facts when we are not sure about that.

  • I dont know why but 8:56 gave me goosebumps.

  • 2 AM squad

  • Birds aren't dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were reptiles.

    • @Mark lol no birds are the dependents of dinosaurs. Birds are more closely related to dinosaurs than dinosaurs are to reptiles

    • But birds and reptiles are a different class. Saying birds are reptiles is like saying mammals are insects.

    • and so are birds, because birds are dinosaurs :)

  • Ok, we need a Jurassic Park - Chicken Run crossover.

  • 5:02 I noticed the ancient lileep :)

  • But such is life... damn.

  • guy could run a dinosaurs rights campaign 😂
